Carp, carp and more carp

We went to Bear Lake yesterday for a day in the sun. Yes the water is still a little cold. The kids played in the water for a little, but spent a lot of time looking for carp. They caught 3 of them with Paul's spear. He loves it. No we did not eat them. Colton and I stayed in our little beach tent.

Hospital again

Last week I was up feeding Colton (4 am) and all of a sudden I had a hard time breathing, couldn't take deep breaths. I sat their for a while curled up, moving around, arching my back, going to the bathroom, nothing helped. So finally after 10 minutes or so of nothing working I called Paul at work. He rushed home and we went up to the ER. After tests, ultra sounds, EKG's, and 2 hrs, the Dr told me that I had gall stones. It is a common thing he sees in women who have just given birth. (With all my neices and nephews I have not seen it nor heard of it, not that I am not saying it isn't common but 25 +). Anyways later that day we went and visited a surgeon about removing my gall bladder. Needless to say the next day, bright and early I was in the OR removing my gall bladder and receiving 4 new scars. I am feeling better and got all the air bubbles out, those were painful. So within the last month we have been to every end of the hospital.

Catch Up

Okay will it has been awhile since I have posted anything on this site. This past month has been a busy one for me.

I went to my Dr. Appt. on May 9th and my blood pressure was up. For the past month it has continually gone up. At this appt. it was 148/103. That is high especially when I have never had problems. The Dr. told us to go home grab our bags and be at the hospital in half an hour. That was at 4 pm and had Colton Packer McKinnon by 9 pm.
My blood pressure continued to stay high and then it dropped dramatically. 70/50. The baby's heart beat dropped to 50 bpm, the doctor was not there yet so the nurse had to start delivering the baby. It was very scary for all of us. We all ended up being okay. Colton had the cord wrapped around his neck, but was fine. He came out breathing and I got to keep him. They didn't take him to the nursey until they transfered me to the recovery room. My blood pressure stayed high for a week or so after the delivery. We are all okay and doing well after that.

Luckily both our parents were coming down this weekend to watch Kaylee perform in her first dance recital. Yes I had to miss it, I was in the hospital. Paul's parents ran Brody around to his Soccer game and to Kaylee's recital. My mom ran Kaylee to her dance rehersal and recital (4hrs of watching kids dance), Brook took care of Kaylee dolling her up for her recital (make up, hair).
My mother in law and mother came and took care of us for the next two weeks. It was great having grandmas here to help and play with the kids.
