This is Kaylee's first talk in primary. She gave it today and was so cute. So I thought I would share it.
Jesus loved serving others. He was the perfect example of service. During Jesus’s mortal life, he served the poor. He taught the gospel. He fed crowds of hungry people. He washed His disciples’ feet. He healed the sick and even raised the dead. Jesus taught the importance of service. (Friend, Sept. 07)
I give service to others by being obedient to my dad and mom, being nice to my brother, and playing with my friends. I like to say ‘hi’ to others and wave to them. I help my mom with dishes and setting the table. These are some ways I can give service.
You can serve the Lord by serving those around you. You do not have to do something big to serve others. A smile can gladden a friend’s heart. Speaking a kind word, helping a brother or sister, obeying your parents – all are ways you can serve. When we willingly serve, we become more like Christ, and our faith grows. (Friend, Sept. 07)
I am glad that I can serve even when I am young, and it makes me happy. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Swing Tester
Enjoy our little clip of our kids swingin from the house banister.
Brody is our little adventure boy. He loves to make knots with his rope. He ties it around the swing set and also the banister. Here is his make shift tree swing. Kaylee likes to follow after him. No one got injured in the making of this film.
